My Cutting Files

Hello Everyone...after much thought I have decided once again to share my cutting files with you all....If you are interested there is a link at the top of my blog underneath the header which will take you to my download site for the files.....Please be aware...while browsing through my previous blogposts... when you find a file you like.....the link for that image is broken...you will need to go to the link at the top of my blog to do a search for the file to download....as it is too time consuming to go through each and every post and correct the links for the files. I trust you will all understand this.
I too, will again offer the entire collection for purchase on DVD if anyone would be interested...you will find the option for that in my ETSY store....As I create new files they will be complied on a DVD in the future for those who prefer to combine that way.

What a BEAUTIFUL Saturday.....making Flowers want to Bloom!!

Hello Hello Everyone!! I hope you are all enjoying a WONDERFUL weekend!!! It is SO pretty here!!! Temps in the 70's and such a wonderful breeze!!

So last weekend my hubby and I had to make a trip to Nashville....he had meetings all weekend with the company he works for......So I got to do my "own thing" during the day.......as I previously lived in Nashville for 20 years I was very familiar with the town....so I spent some fun time visiting old friends and then did some shopping......had a big time I did!!!

But while shopping I found something that I already have several different templates of like the Pom Poms and hearts......and happened upon some Flower templates..... http://www.clover-usa.com/c/kanzashi-flower-makers....BUT......being they were for fabric projects... they were WAY TO BIG for any cards or mixed media projects I would ever do......so while standing there debating on whether to get the smallest one or not I decided to hold off and try something when I got home.....just to see if I could find a way to scale down the size so I could make the flowers in a size that would  be usable for cards and mixed media.....Wahoooooooooooooooooooo....My idea worked like a charm!!!! Check it out....
UPDATE:  AFTER SEVERAL REQUESTS I ALSO DECIDED TO WORK UP A VIDEO SHOWING HOW I PUT THEM TOGETHER......HOPEFULLY YOU MIGHT FIND IT HELPFUL???

Pretty Cool Huh!!!!!  Here's a close  up of them....and there will be several pics...just wanted you to be able to see how cool they really are!!!!!

So.....What do ya think????? Pretty COOL Huh!!!!?  And the neatest thing is you can make the templates ANY SIZE YOU WANT!!! So you're not restricted by the size!!!  I can see myself sitting just making these as they're very relaxing to make.....and you use very little fabric per flower.....So you can easily buy a few fat quarters of fabric for less then $1.50 each and make SEVERAL flowers!!!

Would LOVE to hear what you think???  Might you find a use for them????  I hope you'll share your thoughts......

Okie Dokie....that's it for me for now!!! Off to work on some cards I need to get out for swaps.......as always THANK YOU so much for stopping by to visit with me.....I wish you all a very blessed weekend...and I hope you will come by and visit with me very soon!!! Until then....

Another Sunday of FUN........Just Posting on Tuesday!!

Hey there Everyone!!!  How about this...2 posts in 2 days!!!  I actually should have done this post on Sunday...but I ran out of time.....so I'm having it post Wednesday Morning instead!!! ;)

Over the weekend hubby and I went to Nashville...so he could attend meetings for work and I was able to visit with old friends and make my rounds to the craft stores.....needless to say I had me some FUN!!! ;)
We got home Saturday evening and I had Sunday to play....decided to play with some of my new goodies!!! And I had a BIG time!!!  I'm truly enjoy playing with stamps....wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do so I just pulled out a couple of my new stamps sets, some pigment ink, embossing powder, distress ink and decorative papers and started playing....this is what I came up with first......

I took the doilie stamps and scanned them into my computer and created a shadow layer so I could cut out the shape with my Silver Bullet Professional Cutter and then stamp......NO fussy cutting here when I have an amazing machine that an do it for me!!! Thought I would share this file with you in case any of you have this same stamp set and would like the shape.....

You can see what the stamp set looks like in the image below......

Was SO tickled with how these turned out......so then I decided I wanted to utilize these since I had them all made.......I pulled out some embossing folders, the paper stack I was using....and ribbon...and some embellies.........and went to town.....
Decided I wanted to create some Christian cards....and once I had the idea of what I wanted to do they all started coming together......Even if I have to say so myself I'm totally thrilled with how warm and pretty these turned out......

I used alot of my handmade flowers.....some of my handmade butterflies.....some stick pins I made up and ribbon....along with 2 different embossing folders.... LOL

So.......IF you made it through all of that....Would LOVE to hear what you think......aren't they pretty!!!  I sure think so.....I hope you enjoy them.....And that does it for me for tonight!!! ;)  You're troopers if you stuck with me!!!!  As always...THANK YOU so so much for stopping by to visit with me!! Means more then you know!!!  I hope you'll come by again soon.....and I wish you all a VERY blessed week!!! Until next time...

Time for a NEW Release from Creations by AR!!! She creates some of the most unique files don't you think!!!  They are SO fun to play with and this month's creations is NO exception!!! Check out the file she created this time!!!
I had ALOT of fun with this!!!!  This is the paper design I used and the rubber stamps set I used for the border design on the front piece of the box....

And here's my vision of the box.........

Adela's files are so easy to put together!!! And comes complete with instructions!!!  for this I used the paper pad I shared above and then added some of my PDC Grungy Roses, PDC Leaf Spray and some metal embellishments......I used the above stamp to stamp and emboss the decorative border on the front....and raised that piece a bit so the tab could be tucked under it to keep the flap secure....

I'm sharing several different angels of the piece next just so you can get a good vision of the finished piece.......I'm loving this box file!!  I bet you would too...and it works up super super fast!!!!
