My Cutting Files

Hello Everyone...after much thought I have decided once again to share my cutting files with you all....If you are interested there is a link at the top of my blog underneath the header which will take you to my download site for the files.....Please be aware...while browsing through my previous blogposts... when you find a file you like.....the link for that image is broken...you will need to go to the link at the top of my blog to do a search for the file to download....as it is too time consuming to go through each and every post and correct the links for the files. I trust you will all understand this.
I too, will again offer the entire collection for purchase on DVD if anyone would be interested...you will find the option for that in my ETSY store....As I create new files they will be complied on a DVD in the future for those who prefer to combine that way.

Another Sunday.......

Happy Sunday Evening Everyone.....I do sincerely hope you've all enjoyed your day!!! It's been a rainy day here all day so it was a PERFECT day for me to spend in my ARTHaven...which is exactly what I did.....I needed to complete 3 swaps for my ARTHaven group and I need to still work on my prize for OWOH that starts tomorrow!!!  I successfully completed the swaps I needed and am quite happy with the results.....
While completing these swaps I did design and create a couple of new cut files....of which I will share below the post......as always, if you would like these files please click the below images and they will take you to the page on my website where you may download them.......
Ok, so are you ready.....here we go......This first swap title is ATC Love theme swap.......here's what I created.....

No cut files were designed for this one......I used some of my awesome K&C paper........and then used one of my Cuttlebug Edge Embossing sleeves and did the embossing along the left edge.....I also used the same sleeve and embossed the metallic red hearts....then used my Tim Holtz sanding block and sanded off the high spots and hit with some Distress Ink Walnut Stain.......I took a heart charm and a fan charm....poked a hole through the heart and then used a bead and some wire ran through each of the hearts and embellies to attach to the card......I distressed the edges of the ATC with some more of the Distress Ink Walnut Stain and then wrapped two colors of ribbon around the bottom section of the ATC and there you go....that's my creation for this swap......
The next swap theme was TAG Love Theme.........My inspiration for this was some white doilies by Wilson that you get at Wally World or just about anywhere.........Here's what I created and I'll give details below.....

To create this I took the white doilies by Wilson and used some of my Dew Drop Versa Magic Chalk Ink in VG-53 Red Brick and colored the doilie totally.......once colored I then used my Distress Ink Walnut stain and went around the doilies and over the raised surfaces....then I coated with my Versamark pad and covered with clear embossing powder and heat embossed.........then ran through my Xyron to make into a sticker....I attached them to a layer of K&C paper cut to shape.......I had also distressed the edges with some of my Distress Ink Walnut Stain.......(I created the cut file for the Wilson Doilie 3.5 inch diameter).....I then joined two of the hearts together and then did Dynamic Offset to get the amount of shadow layer I wanted..........So if you any any doilles you would like to use this technique with the file will be below......
Once I had the doilies adhered to the decorative layer I set aside and took the background layer of brown paper and ran through my Cuttlebug and used the Swiss Dots embossing sleeve to emboss.......then took my sanding block and knocked off the brown from the dots then used my Distress Ink in Red Lipstick to hit the tops of the dots.......
Now for the small heart in the center I used some of my grunge board......traced out the inner parameter of the doilie onto the grunge paper and cut it out....I then took some more of the same decorative paper and glued it to the grunge board then took my distressing tool and distressed all around the heart then ran through my Cuttlebug and used the Swiss Dots embossing sleeve to emboss......then used my Distress Ink Walnut Stain to distress the edges and the dots......
Then I took some of the Grungeboard shapes......key, lock and Swirley.....covered the swirly with the Expresso Dauber and then coated with Walnut stain distress embossing powder and embossed......on the lock and key I used some Gold Dauber then coated with Walnut Stain Distress embossing powder and embossed......I deliberatly left some areas uncoated with embossing powder to give it a worn aged look....ran the lock through my Cuttlebug using the stone type embossing sleeve...then hit both the key and the lock with the Walnut Stain Distress ink......I placed the end of the key into the lock then used some foam dots, craft glue and brads to adhere the pieces on top each other.......then used foam dots to attach the small heart to the background doilie layer and then foam dots to adhere all that to the base brown layer....
I used eyelets at the top and the bottom using my Crop-A-Dial ran fibers and sheer ribbon on the top and took some wire and beads to attach to the bottom...Whola!!!! That's my tag!!!!  Do you like it????? I do!!!
Now.....Are you tired of reading yet???? LOL...Please bear with me!!!  The last swap I needed to complete is the CARD Love Theme......I decided I wanted to create a Doilie Card for this design using hearts........so I did indeed do just that.....here's my finished card....

Once I cut out all my layers....I ran the base decorative paper...which is OF COURSE K&C paper...LOL...and used my Swiss Dot Embossing sleeve through my Cuttlebug...then went over the dots and edges with my Walnut Stain Distress Ink Pad......took all the hearts to be layered on the Doilie part and ran through the swirly embossing sleeve with the Cuttlebug.....I then hit the high spots of them with the Distress Ink Lip Stick......used foam dots to adhere the hearts to the card......
I then used my SCAL and cut out the word Happy Valentines with I believe the Brush Script font and then moved each letter over and welded together to my liking.....I cut the words out on the tan cardstock but then took my distress foam pad and used a mixture of the Walnut Stain Ink and Worn Lipstick to color the words...so it has a bit of a blended look....then I coated the words with Versamark ink and coated with clear embossing powder and embossed.....
I then used some of my burlap type ribbon and wrapped around the top of the card and then glued my words to it.......I used a seafoam green type paper to line the inside of the card and then cut an accompanying envie to go with the card...Whola....this is complete!!! I love the impact of this card!!!!! I hope you do too.....IF you would like to have the cut file for this you can click the image below.........
So......Now you see what I've been having fun doing all day!!!! SO MUCH FUN for me!!!! I've had my radio playing all day and haven't even turned on my TV.....I must say it is AWESOME for keeping my mojo flowing I found myself bopping around my ARTHaven acting like I could sing....ROFL!!! NOT!!!!
Ok, now I'm off to work on my gift for the OWOH that starts tomorrow...I SO hope you will come by and leave a comment to enter ffor a chance to win!!!!  I pray you all have a VERY BLESSED Monday!!! Please come again....until then....

IT'S FRIDAY!!!!

WOW this has been a fast week!!! Can't say I'm disappointed though!!! ;)  I plan on spending this weekend just list most weekends....Playing with Paper!!! Yippie Me........I do get to spend a bit of time at my aunt's house on Saturday to give her a few more Cricut/SCAL lessons...then it's me me me time!!! ;)
So, I had one more card for an order to create......it was for one of my boss's birthday coming up......All the other boss would say is.....make it something about cooking......hummmmmmmmmmmmmm, OK????!!!!  Well then I got to thinking.....she loves Paula Deen......and you know those old commercials with a lady holding up something and then having a talk bubble beside her.....well I thought....why not have a pic of Paula Deen there with a phrase like she might say with her good ole' southern drawl!!!! ;)  So here's what I came up with.......

I did create some cut files with this but none that would really be useful to most........However I will share with you I used my technique for cutting out my image with my Cricut.........and you can see just how AWESOME of a job my printer printed the pic of Paula through my Inkscape program........
Just an additional note.....when I talk about making a "henge" I'm referring to putting your paper on the right edge of the mat and using a piece of painters tape to the edge of the paper and the cricut mat to create a "henge" so when you lift the paper up you won't move the cut out area from it's original cutting area.....
Okie Dokie....that's about it for me today....As always....THANK YOU for stopping by to visit with me....It totally makes may day when I hear from you........please know that......I love responding to you!!  I do hope you will come by and again...I pray you all have a VERY blessed Friday!!!! Until next time.....

Happy Hump Day....

Mid week already.......My how these days just fly by.......I've been working the past couple days on another card I have for an order.......the person it's for is looking forward to getting a Yard Barn this spring so I worked the Birthday card around this fact.......
While creating this card I also created a couple of files so I'm sharing them below if anyone is interested in them.......So, here's what I created......

I created the background with inkpads and my brayer and torn paper.........green and brown for the grass and blue for the sky.....then I used some tacky glue and used some of my Color Fluff Stuff on the grass and tree....LOVE how it turned out........I then took the pieces to the wheel barrel and the shovel and coated with with distress embossing ink and used my distress embossing powders to give a grainy metal like texture to them........
The fence I coated with versamark ink and then coated with clear embossing powder and embossed to give it a bit of a shine so it would look more like a vinyl fence..........there is alot of detail in this card and I'm most happy with it..........
For the envie I printed off a graphic with my large format printer then cut with my cricut.......I designed the envelope to fit this particular card......LOVE MY CRICUT!!! ;)
So here's images of the cut files I designed and created...remember if you would like to have any of them you may click on the image and they will take you to the pages on My Website where you may download them......

Then earlier in the week I had a request for a rope border, an Angel Awareness file, ............thought I would share these file here as well......

Okie Dokie.....So I guess this catches me up so far!!!!! I've been having fun playing with paper and creating files....I sure hope you like what I've made maybe just even a little bit!!!!! As always...THANK YOU for coming by to visit with me...Would love to hear what you think!!! Another Weekend come to an End…….

Hey Everyone……..I hope you’ve all had a FANTASTIC WEEKEND….I can tell you I’ve had a WONDERFUL one!!!!  I was totally blown away on Saturday with all the amazing Birthday Wishes I received from everyone!!! You’ve all totally touched my heart and I truly truly Thank You!!!!!  It was a wonderful day all the way around!!!!!
I did get to play with paper off and on over the past couple of days……thought I would share with you what I created…….
The first is yet another handmade book……the base being made with Pizza Roll box……….I made this book for a very sweet lady named Gail Wallenmaier……….and I’m excited for her to receive it………I wonder if she will peak on my blog before she receives it??????  So, here it is…..

I used some AMAZING  K&C Papers on this, my Cricut Expression with a file of the decoration above and below the ribbon from another ARTist and I’m embarrassed to say I’m not sure who that creator was….I am so sorry but it’s beautiful isn’t it…….I also used some of Paulo’s Flowers that he shared several months ago and my Swiss Dot embossing sleeve with my Cuttlebug and hit the high spots with some Time Holtz Walnut Stain Inkpad….If you’ve not checked out his blog and all his AMAZING files you definately want to go check it out http://scale-files.blogspot.com/  Along with his flowers I used my ITop Brad Maker to make the centers of the flowers with some of the K&C Papers……..I used a chipboard shape for the Inspire……coated it with some Peeled Paint Tim Holtz Paint Daubbers and then coated with some Picket Fence Distress Crackle Paint…Once dried I then brushed the edges with Versa Magic Gingerbread Chalk Ink and also stamped the word Inspire with the same Ink…….I added two ribbons and some rhinestone squares in two different colors……I bound the book with my Bind It All…the pages of the book are notebook paper cutdown to size….
I’m really very thrilled with how this turned out!!!!
Then I have received an order for 3 birthday cards…..the one I decided to work on tonight is for the daughter who is really into her new iPOD touch she received for Christmas and is still into Harry Potter…..so I wanted to combine the two together…..my brain started spinning and I decided I wanted to create an iPOD……so I designed and drew it in Inkscape and cut with my Cricut E………I LOVE how it turned out and even my boys were totally impressed…..Take a look for yourself….

IF any of you like this file and would like to have it you may click the below image and it will take you to the page on MY WEBSITE where you may download the SVG file for free…….The file also includes the Envie to go with the Card so you’ll have a perfect fit!!!!

To give it even more of the look of an actual iPOD I used acetate as the “screen” of the viewing area so it’s got a glass type look and feel……I hope you like this and would LOVE to hear your comments……..
So that’s it for me tonight…..I’m getting ready to work on another project….As always, THANK YOU so much for coming by to visit with me!!!!  I do hope you will come by again…….until next time…..

Having fun with PAPER!!!

Good Evening Everyone…and Happy Tuesday……LOL…..I had fun playing with some paper to work on an ATC swap for my SCALSocial Group….You could make it any way…you just have to be sure to use your Cricut or cutting machine in making it!!!

A couple weeks ago I purchased the ITop Brad Maker….it’s a pretty cool tool to make custom designed brads in 3 different sizes…..well…I decided to create the template for the paper to use in making the custom designed brads……so that I could cut them with my Cricut……..I’m showing you a picture of how the file cuts and turns out when used…….
If anyone would like to have these cut files you can click the images below to get the 3 different sizes I made them in…..

It’s so fun to create something that you can use over and over and over……and wouldn’t these also make some cute flowers just like they are!!!!!!
Okie Dokie….guess it’s time for me to go nite nite!!! Definately need my beauty sleep!!! ;)  I, as always, want to THANK YOU for stopping by to visit with me!!!!  It always means so much to me!!! I do hope you will all come by again and I hope you all have a VERY BLESSED Wednesday!!! Until next time….

The Weekend Is Done…..

Isn’t it amazing how quick our weekends tend to fly by!!!!!  Seems like we blink and they’re done!!!
I did have some fun in my ARTHaven this weekend….My aunt came over and we played in my ARTHaven for several hours….She is just getting into crafting and is trying to learn all she can on how bet utilize all her fun crafting tools she’s recently invested in!!!!
She wanted me to create something from start to finish so she could just watch me….so I decided to work on one of my swaps I needed to make for my SCALSocialConnection Group…..This was a book swap……we just have to incorporate the use of our Cricuts or cutting machine in the creation of the book…….
Here’s my creation…….

The base of the front and back of the book are Pizza bite boxes….I cut down and then covered with decorative paper…this paper is by K&C Company they make such beautiful papers!!!!
I then took some paper I purchased from my friend Kanan who lives in India to make the strip on the edge of the front cover….I took a fancy edged ruler and ripped the edge of the paper…then ran through my Cuttlebug to texturize the paper even more then hit with a couple colors of my Tim Holtz Distress Inkpads……
I rounded the corners with my Crop-A-Corner punch…which I LOVE……..and used regular school paper that I cut down to match the size of the book…….
I then used some of my CUT FILES I have designed and created several months back……….I’m sharing images of the cut files here….IF you are interested in any of them you may click the image and it will take you to the page on My Website where you may obtain them……

Once I had them all cut with my Cricut I then used my Cubblebug to texturize them and my Inkpads to distress the edges……..I used Rhinestone Brads in the middle of the flowers and adhered to the book……I then cut some slits in the front cover because once  had the other items on I felt it still needed something so I decided on my next favorite medium to use….ribbon!!! Surprise Surprise huh!!! LOL  Then used my Bind-It-All to punch my holes and attach the wire coil!!!!
Then I had been wanting to create a Gift Card/Money Card holder different then the one I did a couple of weeks ago……I thought I would share it here with you as well…..
Ok, So these are my contributions for this evening….Now I must get some much needed beauty sleep…Monday morning comes early!!!!  As always….THANK YOU for coming by to visit with me…….It really really means alot!!! I hope you will come by again…..I pray you all have a VERY blessed Monday!!! Until next time…

Happy New Year.....

I hope you all had a WONDERFUL New Year and everyone is happy and healthy......My New Year's Eve was quiet and that's just fine by me....Hubby and I went out to dinner then came home...he watched movies and played his video game....I spent the evening in my ARTHaven!!!  No better place for me!!! ;)

I don't make New Year's Resolutions because I know I'll never stick to them....however one thing I did promise myself is that I wanted to create ART for the sake of CREATING and not always for orders or for things to sell........So I decided I was going to start with something last night......I had purchased some acrylic clear stamps the other day that gave me the idea to do this....so with the use of my new stamps, MY DIGITAL STAMP I had created a couple months back, some of MY CUT FILES I've designed and created and lots of other steps my gift for ME came together..........Check it out....I'm quite happy.......

I selected some pictures of my family to put on each page of my calendar.......not picking a particular image to go on a particular month other than the month of October which is my anniversary month.........I just basically picked some of my favorite pictures..........

The ones of the babies....are MY BABIES......Well, they're not babies anymore........My "babies" are now 23 and 15........my how the years go by so fast!!!!!!  Each one I picked of them hold a very special place in my heart..........even the one of Billy that's not real clear....I still LOVE it and just decided whether it was a good image or not......I LOVE it so I used it.....I took each of the pictures and changed them to Sephia tone....I felt the color tones worked so well with my color choices of my layouts.......

The Calendar base is a digital stamp I created a couple months back.....I then took a coffee colored sharpie and wrote the dates in for each month......I used my acrylic stamps to stamp the month and the year.......I then used my cuttlebug and embossed the edges of the calendar and then hit with some Walnut Stain Tim Holtz Distress Ink pad and my foam applicator......I also.....I wrapped some thin brown ribbon around the page and tied in a simple knot to give some added attention......

On the pictures I printed them out then trimmed down...then I took my Distressing Tool and distressed the edges of the picture........I used one of my Corner Files I had designed and created several months back and sized to the size I wanted and cut with my Cricut.........If you like this file and you don't already have it you can find it by clicking the image below and it will take you to the page on my website where you can download it....

I wanted to add an added dimension to the page so, you know I LOVE flowers.....so I decided to use some of my Flower Cut Files I designed several months back............cut with my Cricut then distressed the edges again with some Tim Holtz Distress ink in Walnut Stain........used a brad eyelet and my Crop-A-Dail to set them......curled the petals with a thin tool and adhered to my page with a foam dot....
Once I had all my pages decorated the way I wanted them I used my BIA to punch the holes and put the wire  coil on....I also added a back layer of chip board..........When I purchased my BIA several months back they sent me this stand to display your ART books you create......well I decided to use it to display my book.......had little screws that you can attach your project to it so it will hold it for you and then you can just flip the pages..........

So....This is the project I made for me!!!!!!! Do you like it???? I'm SO thrilled with the way it came out and can see myself making some of these for gifts...........Now I go back to playing with some paper...I was just so tickled with how it turned out I wanted to share it with you....As always, THANK YOU SO MUCH for coming by to visit with me!!!! It REALLY means alot!!!!  I pray you all have a very blessed remainder of the weekend......I hope you will come by again....Until next time.......
